摘要:
目的   探讨膀胱移行细胞癌组织中环氧化酶-2(COX-2)和表皮生长因子受体(EGFR)的表达与膀胱移行细胞癌发生、发展的关系及其两者的相关性,分析COX-2、EGFR表达与肿瘤生物学行为的关系。   方法   采用免疫组化(S-P)法检测48例膀胱移行细胞癌和10例正常膀胱黏膜组织中COX-2与EGFR的表达。   结果   48例膀胱移行细胞癌组织中,COX-2与EGFR表达阳性率分别为70.8%和66.7%,显著高于正常膀胱黏膜组织(P<0.01)。COX-2与EGFR在原发组中的阳性表达率低于复发组。随着膀胱移行细胞癌病理分级和临床分期的增高,COX-2和EGFR的表达增高,差异有统计学意义(P<0.05)。COX-2和EGFR的表达之间呈明显正相关(Kappa=0.419,P=0.004)。   结论   COX-2和EGFR在膀胱移行细胞癌组织中普遍表达,且两者表达密切相关,两者可能在膀胱移行细胞癌的发生,发展过程中起重要作用,可作为判断膀胱移行细胞癌的生物学行为及估计预后的指标。
Abstract:
Objective   To study the expressions and correlation of cyclooxygenase-2 (COX-2) and epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) in human transitional cell carcinoma of bladder (TCC) tissues and explore the correlation of their expressions in the incidence and development of TCC.    Methods   The expressions of COX-2 and EGFR were detected by immunohistochemical technique in 48 cases of TCC and in 10 cases of normal bladder mucosa tissues.    Results   The expressions of COX-2 and EGFR in TCC was significantly higher than those in normal bladder mucosa tissues (P<0.01), and the positive expression rates of COX-2 and EGFR was 70.8% and 66.7% respectively. The abnormal expressions of COX-2 and EGFR were related to the tumor grade, clinical stage and recurrence (P<0.05). The expression of COX-2 positively correlated with that of EGFR (Kappa=0.419, P=0.004).    Conclusion   COX-2 and EGFR are commonly coexpressed in bladder tissues of TCC, and their expressions is closely correlated. Both of them may play an important role in the tumorigenesis and tumor progression in TCC. Therefore, the coexpression of COX-2 and EGFR seems to be regarded as a tumor marker for patients with TCC and can be used to evaluate the tumor biological behavior and prognosis.
