摘要:
目的  对20种铜绿假单胞菌噬菌体基因组中可能的内溶素基因进行生物信息学分析,探讨其可能的作用机制。  方法  采用开放阅读框预测、同源检索、多重序列比对、蛋白质模型自动匹配等方法预测可能的内溶素及其内溶素相关基因。  结果  通过铜绿假单胞菌噬菌体基因组进行分析,新发现8种内溶素基因和2种穴蛋白基因,对新发现基因的类型做了相关推定。  结论  利用生物信息学手段分析已知序列,可以迅速、方便、有效地确定未知基因的功能及作用方式。
Abstract:
Objective   To find and analyze all the endolysin genes of 20 pseudomonas aeruginosa bacteriophages.   Methods  Firstly, the entire open reading frame (ORF) of pseudomonas aeruginosa bacteriophages was predicted. Secondly, similarity alignments, ClustalW alignments and automated knowledge-based protein modeling were performed and analyzed.   Results  Eight new endolysin and two holin genes were found in our research. The gene function was analyzed subsequently.   Conclusion  Bioinformatic prediction is an effective method to find and analyze the newly sequenced genes. The new endolysin and holin genes we found will be helpful in further studying the related genes.
